Audibles have become a hefty feel in the book industry as time progresses. I, for one, am not a fan of listening to books. I like to relax and read the book because my listening skills aren’t on par. However, in the review section of my website, the reviewer, cellion11, focuses on audibles and reviewing them. He says he gravitates to audiobooks because it allows him to multi-task since he travels quite often.

I tried driving and listening to an audiobook, but I completely zoned out and had to rewind to hear what I missed. Even though I don’t care for those types of reading (listening) material, plenty of people love and prefer them.

I asked a few people what they prefer about audibles, and the main answer was accessibility. The second answer I received was from the voice actors. Apparently, some of the actors voicing audiobooks do a great job. For instance, a reader mentioned that she was reading an erotic story, and both the male and female voices matched the characteristics of the character of the book itself. I find that to be talented. But, on the other hand, I know many have monotonous voices, which causes the reader to become uninterested.

I don’t think audibles will go away anytime soon, if at all. However, in instances like this, it’s best to handle the situation by accepting and learning to live with the offered piece of technology. Happy reading, guys!

A few audibles Cellion11 found enthralling were:
